- I'm a reader. Writer. Lover of soul-stirring words and life-changing books. My favorites? That's like asking a mom which child she likes best. I confess a great fondness for The Velveteen Rabbit, The Little Prince, Dr. Seuss, and all things Mitford or Harmony. I'm also a big fan of the man in the yellow hat (don't tell anyone). I earned a double major in Bible and Communication/Print Media from a leading Christian university. My professional background includes work in public relations and marketing as a staff writer and editor. I spent several years in aerospace in strategic planning and market analysis before “retiring” to get a real job as a Professional Mother and Homeschooler. I've authored ten books to date and am working on my next title.
